i have one ram 1333mhz and i want to buy a motherboard that the ram that i have is not on support list but the motherboard recognize 1333mhz
can i buy it ?

the QVL or Qualified Vendors List is simply a list of modules the motherboard manufacturer has pre-tested for you. they are certified by the motherboard manufacturer to be tested and working. that is it. it is not the only memory the motherboard can see, it is just a safe list of RAM options for you to choose from.

I do not like to mix RAM modules, even RAM from the same manufacturer and the same model may not work together. use CPUid from CPUz to ID the RAM specs you have, timings and voltages and get RAM that matches. This will increase the likelihood the RAM will work together. Once the RAM has been chosen and arrives test the RAM together with memtest86 for three passes to verify that the system is stable and there are no timing conflicts that cause crashes. If the ram fails the test, return and try again. If the RAM passes, it works and you know system is work ready.
