Which RAM for Asus PRIME-B350M-E and RYZEN 3 1200 combo

Hey guys,
I was wondering which ram should I buy for Asus PRIME-B350M-E and RYZEN 3 1200 combination. There have been lot of answers by many people that the RYZEN 3 has some specifics for RAM installation that if I don't install the RAM according to the cpu's specs it won't work and others are saying that the max memory the motherboard can support the cpu will also support that.

I am planning on buying any of these- CORSAIR Vengenge LPX 8gb 2400 mhz
G.Skill Ripjaws V 8gb 2400 mhz

Help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to be playing games, it might be a better idea to get 2666 MHz RAM, as it helps with better performance on Ryzen CPUs. DDR4 RAM will work just fine. The issues you have been hearing about are probably relating to RAM frequency on Ryzen - but that issue does not appear below 3000 MHz RAM, so you need not worry about that with either of those kits, or with a 2666 MHz kit.

Ryzen CPUs and your B350-chipset motherboard can support up to 2666MHz RAM speed by default, provided, you're getting 2666MHz or higher speed RAM modules. Anything higher than 2666MHz (such as 2800MHz, 3000MHz, 3200MHz, as so forth) can be attained by OC'ing such RAM. The Ryzen 3 1200 and the Asus Prime B350M-E can support up to 3200MHz by enabling DOCP (auto-overclock profile) in BIOS.

Take note that some RAM sticks, despite having higher rated speds, only defaults to either 2133MHz or 2400MHz based on the list. You should check the RAM sticks you are planning to buy (the exact model number) and reference that to the motherboard's QVL link I posted above if it supports such rated speeds.
