I have a thin client with Windows XP Embedded installed. It won't be connected to the Internet. I'd like to make it so the main user account can access the contents of a connected a USB flash drive.

I was able to make it so that the USB drive can be opened by enabling "full control" for all users for explorer.exe and for usbstor.inf but this still doesn't allow me to actually open the files on the USB drive - it only lets me see them. When I try to access the USB drive from my teleprompter program, it only sees "Desktop" in the dropdown menu; the program does not see any drives.

The Administrator account can do what I want but it's easier to use the default account because it logs into that automatically.
