Been putting together a gaming pc with all used components cept the PSU for gaming on 1600x900 monitor. Currently have

i7-3770
generic mobo
8GB DDR3
250GB SSD
120GB SSD
1TB HDD
PSU will purchase when I know my gpu
Windows 10 Home

I got a guy on the hook for his GTX 690 2GB for $90. He just bought a GTX 1080 so he's selling cheap. In know the guy mildly and know he won't rip me off with it not working etc. I'm assuming that even at my low res that 2GB might be a problem these days. Other than that, this seems like a really good deal. As locally and only CL is see 680/670's going for 80-140 USD.

Thoughts?

For 900P it will be perfectly acceptable. Keep in mind though the benchies above ^^^ won't always be the case as SLI isn't supported on all games. So expect a little bit more than half the performance in non SLI games.

Either way though 900P is a super low resolution, even with one GPU disabled it'll be fine.

At least the UserBenchmark results above are with SLI Disabled. It is still mostly ahead of the 1050 Ti.
