I am trying to connect my Xbox One controller to my windows 10 PC via cable. I have tried connecting with 3 different controllers, 5 different cables, and tried all 8 of my usb ports on the actual desktop. When plugging in my Xbox Controller(Powered on of course), all I get is a vibration response on the controller, but the computer responds with nothing. I don't see anything having to do with installing drivers. I have went to "Devices and Printers" inside of the control panel, yet I see nothing about the controller. I checked Device manager enabling hidden devices, and I don't see it.

How can I start using my Xbox one controller with my Windows 10 PC.

Solution
First check the specifications to ensure that that is possible.

Second, if so, download the necessary drivers so the Controller and Windows 10 computer can work together.

Run the built in Windows 10 Troubleshooters via "WIN' + "I" > "Update & Security" > "Troubleshoot"
