finally finished building my gaming pc, components are as follows:
i5-7600k 3.8 cpu
cooler master hyper 212 evo cpu cooler
asrock z270 extreme4 ATX
corsair 16gb ddr4-3000 ram
samsung 850 evo 250g SSD
WD caviar blue 1tb 7200 rpm HDD
evga geforce gtx 1060 6gb SC graphics card
evga supernova nex 650w 80 plus gold
windows 10 home 64bit operating system
nzxt s340 elite, not sure if the case matters but couldn't hurt.
Installed OS just fine and watched a couple videos on youtube to test it out.had only the SSD installed while uploading the OS, put the harddrive in later..not exactly sure if the computer is recognized the HDD because it's not showing up on the lists of disks. Attempted to download Steam and unit would freeze out of nowhere, let it sit for about half an hour and still nothing, was forced to shut it down with the pcu switch (probably wasn't a good idea) powered back up and started fine.. and would do the same thing. completely lost and scared out of my mind. please help.
