I have an LG G5 which a common problem is the gps signal. I found that you have to take the phone apart and lift the antennae connectors up. but only stay up for a few days and you have to do it again. so I was wondering if it was safe to use a dab of hot glue on it to hold them up.

If you mean the very small connector on the removable module, it would probably be fine as there isn't really anything near the connector to damage. But hot glue on such a tiny and obscured spot is going to be tricky to manage. How about a shim under the terminal? Either metal or not. Or layers of conductive paint on the contact? Or conductive copper tape with conductive acrylic adhesive on the case itself? If you must use glue, plain old Elmer's should be good if you have time for it to dry. Also a thin strip of cardboard or plastic (even tape) might be used to shim the base of the battery module to keep it firmly against the case (and keeping your antenna connected). I personally have only had my battery out three times in over a year; once for fun, second time to replace shattered camera lens, and third time to try to answer your question. If you need frequent battery swaps maybe a power pack would be a better option. I just picked up an 8000mAh for $20. Charges 2 phones and my bluetooth speaker at the same time. One more thought, hotglue will soften quickly on a hot day or in a hot car. Even the high-temp variety.
