What would be better purely for gaming, i5 2500k or an xeon x5650? Both can oc...
I currently own both processors and in systems but performance is quite simmilar although the xeon is at 4ghz and i5 is stock. I am using a gtx 760 in both systems which is a bottleneck so Its hard to see a significant fps difference. I also understand the i5 is stronger single core and the xeon is stronger multi core.. Has anyone compared and x5650 with an i5/i7? The reason im asking this as I only want to keep one system. The bonus for the xeon system is the after market heatsink, as the i5 has a stock one, but the is i5 Is on a newer platform. Xeon is on an asus p6t, i5 is on a gigabyte z68
