Just bought a LG 21:9 2560x1080/60hz 34" monitor, I am shopping for a displayport to HDMI cable/adapter which will connect to the monitor from a gtx1060 card. Can't find one in amazon, newegg, monoprice, ... anyone has any suggestion? Thank you so much!

This adapter is spec'ed to support UHD resolution up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, 8-bit color. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812232065&cm_re=DisplayPort_1.2_to_HDMI_2.0_active_converter-_-12-232-065-_-Product. When you search, be sure to look for "active" adapters and 4k.

@Scottray, the adapter has 3/5 stars, and bad review in Amazon, ... did not produce the advertised 4K@60, instead, it capped out at 4K@304K@30.

First, you're not running 4K. 21:9 is a little under 3K pixels. So, maybe the adapter has enough bandwidth to support 60Hz refresh. I provided it as an example of adapters that could support your requirements. Second, why the heck did you buy a monitor that you can't conveniently connect to your GPU? Seems like a waste of time and money if you have to start fiddling around with video port adapters.

The monitor works fine when it is connected to GPU's hdmi output. However, I also has a 24" 2560x1440 monitor which now is connected the hdmi output of the gpu. My gpu has 1x hdmi, 3x displayport, 1x dvi-d duel link. I hope to use the ultrawide as main monitor and the 2k 24" 100%sRGB as my 2nd monitor for photo edit.
