Can My Motherboard Support Both an SSD and a Hard Drive

I am planning on building a computer using this motherboard: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-970A-DS3P-Motherboard-Socket-Express/dp/B00CX4MUCC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504429289&sr=8-1&keywords=Ddr3+Am3%2B+PCI-e+motherboard

I was wondering if it supports both an SSD for my operating system and a hard drive for everything else?
Any help is much appreciated.

Definitely. It will work with both the SSD and HDD. Your motherboard has 6 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors. No issues.

Just insert the SSD first and install the OS. After installation insert the HDD to store everything else.
