Choice of motherboard depends on these several factors (among others):
1) What is your CPU? (Intel CPU requires Intel motherboards; AMD CPU requires AMD motherboards. Furthermore, there are different socket types/pinouts depending on specific CPU model you have. Also, the motherboard's chipset should be compatibly paired with specific CPUs' performance capabilities)
2) What is your case/chassis/cabinet? (There are different sizes/form factors of motherboards, such as ITX, mATX, ATX, and E-ATX. Larger cases can fit all form factors. Mid towers and typical cases can fit ATX, mATX, and ITX's. Smaller mATX cases can fit both mATX or ITX. Smallest cases such as HTPC or SFF cases can only fit ITX.)
3) What ports, connections, and features do you need and want? (Motherboards have different sockets/ports, depending on your use. Some have USB3.1 Gen2 support. Some have multiple M.2 sockets. Some support multi-GPU setups. How many SATA ports do you need? How many USB internal headers and external ports do you want? How many RAM sticks do you have? Do you prefer a certain theme/color?)
4) What is your budget and where will you be purchasing the motherboard? (You may have to be specific on the price range as to what is "not so expensive" for you. Also, provide the location or currency so that we can recommend based on such prices).
