i7 7740x system reboot under load

i just bought a i7 7740x processor and while using softwares like maya to render using the cpu the moment the cpu is under load when i start the render the system freezes and resets its self while my cpu temp doesnt even cross 75 degrees. this doesnt happen if i use my gpu to do my renders, it runs fine. i face no such issue while gaming either. i am not overclocking any component here. please help

my config:
i7 7740x
gigabyte x299 ud4
16gb ram
gigabyte gtx1080 wf3
700 watts power supply

Well, it is hard to identify the problem without some testing. You can run some stress testing on the cpu and see if the shutdown happens when underload.

i did.. my cpu never crosses 72 degrees. i reflashed my mobo bios and it seems to have contained the problem for now but dont know if it is a solution
