How does affect introducing an external card next to your GPU fan?

Hey guys greetings. I have been looking to buy an external Sound card but got into the next situation:
I do have a micro ATX motherboard which have 2x pci-express x1 slots and 1x pci-express 3.0 x16.

So you can see the reference in this picture:
https://www.google.com/search?q=h61h2-m2&client=firefox-b-ab&dcr=0&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjjx6iy24nWAhXDKWMKHUP5Bu0Q_AUICigB&biw=1600&bih=760#imgrc=CBTjA0zEt1ERgM:

So the thing is I have a GTX 1050 2gb mini which is blocking one of the pci express x1 slots (Double slot space required) and I just have only one x1 slot remaining which could be for a soundcard.

If I introduce this sound card it may affect the airflow or temperature dramatically from the GPU?
I would like your opinion since I don't know how to search such situation around there.
The soundcard would be inserted next to GPU fan.

Will appreciate your opinions.

I actually never had experience with soundcards but from what I read it increases very well the sound quality. However I have doubts if this may create new problems with GPU temperature, that's the point. And if that happens it could be a complete waste of money with the sound card.

I wouldnt worry about the heat, if you have any reasonable amount of airflow it would be fine.
What kind of audio setup are you using? You would be surprised at the number of people using some 50 buck headsets or even USB headsets expecting a soundcard to make them better.

I have this computer case too:
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-ab&dcr=0&biw=1600&bih=760&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=gabinete+treetop+x6&oq=gabinete+treetop+x6&gs_l=psy-ab.3...4902.5594.0.5631.8.5.0.0.0.0.274.274.2-1.1.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..8.0.0.ksuxKKi96FI#imgrc=DEqgrIGyBegpvM:

Which have 2 fans at left side which are generic or low performance, don't know how specify it. And it does space in the back to introduce another 12cm fan which is for exit airflow (haven't used yet any fan in that place).

Yeah I got you, my bad. I was trying to explain a possible situation with a soundcard which isn't the onboard from motherboard.
