Hello

I have a gaming pc and sometimes I feel like if I could lay down on my bed and play some games with a wireless controller on my 60 inch tv, So if I bought an Xbox One Controller would it be worth it? Like would it work with any game I play is my question? How would I configure it if it isnt in the settings? I mean most games are available for ps4 and xbox anyway so I should be fine right?

Thanks for your answer!
Good day!

I play with gamepad since my first pc 2001. That day I was playing with playstation 2 gamepad using an usb adapter. Today a Xbox 360 gamepad is my choice since 7 years maybe and since last week i switched to Xbox One gamepad using bluetooth. In my experience some bluetooth adapter are problematic, especially with a longer range and multiple pads. At home, i play alone near to pc and have no problems. There is an official adapter which should worl flawessly. You also can use a regular usb cable on Xbox One gamepad. Thats my experience.

Now it depends on the games. For first person shooters I prefer mouse and keyboard, but for platformers, street fighter like games or racing games i prefer a gamepad. Technically spoken there is little...

Btw Steam have support for several gamepads which will work with many games which initially dont have gamepad support or for specific games.
