Of course, the build you listed looks fine.

If I were building this, I'd push my budget to the 32GB RAM option, for two reasons:
1. So there is plenty of spare RAM available, even while editing. I regularly go over 16GB, even just with normal browsing and other usage, and;

2. If you decide you need more RAM in the future, finding a matching set can be a struggle. Therefore, getting the higher amount when you first build the PC is sometimes easier.

change the mb to a x270 chipset the x170 need bios updates for the newer cpu before the post. if you can wait till the end of the month pick up a newer coffee lake cpu. as your doing editing the new cpu are 6 cores and the leaks have them only a few dollars more then the older chips there replacing.

There is no point - the CPU in this parts list is a 6700k, which would not require the bios update on x170 chipset boards. If the CPU listed was a 7700k, then you would be correct.

@OP, if you are planning on editing and gaming, had you considered getting an AMD Ryzen setup? Ryzen 7 1700x (8 core) is around $20 cheaper than an i7 6700k. Sure, you could wait for Coffee Lake like smorizio said, but the Ryzen system would cost less, and can be purchased NOW vs whenever Coffee Lake finally comes to market.
