First time building a PC

This is my first time I want to order components to build my own PC. I want to modernize my Dell XPS 8500 but read that the case is not compatible with new intel chips or motherboards so I want to start from scratch.

I do some work in Adobe (preimiere, photoshop, etc..) and Pinnacle Studio and play a few games but definitely not an avid gamer. I was told that more cores may be better with the video editing programs. So some opinions would be greatly appreciated:

CPU: Intel i7 7820x
Memory: TridentZ16 GB DDR4 4244
Motherboard: either ASUS PRime X299 Deluxe or Gigabyte AORUS x299 Gaming 7 (a bit cheaper than the ASUS and cooler LED lighting)
Case: Corair Crystal series 470x RGB mid-Tower case
SSD: M1 Samsung EVO 500 GB
One 1 TB WD HDD that I likely will take from my older computer as it is only 1 year old
EVGA Modular PSU (also <1 year old in my older computer so will use that)
Noctura NH-D15 CPU cooling fan
GEForce 1080 GPU (already own that so will take that from my older computer also)
Also, the case comes with 3 front fans. It can hold a rear and two top fans. Should I buy these? Are one of these cooling kits with the radiators better give my purpose or are regular fans enough?

Thank you so much for your help before I spend a bunch on this system. I know it is likely over-kill but I want it to last several years. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. What memory do you suggest? Are extra fans at the top even necessary with 3 front and 1 rear fan and the CPU fan?

literary half of that total is the cpu, also i don't think this will be the case but if you don't need so many cores and you need more core speed (0.5 ghz at best) then the intel i9-7900X has it for the same price (only has 10 cores and 20 threads)
