Fortunately 2nd and 3rd gen processors from Intel use the same socket called LGA-1155 and i'm looking forward to upgrade my Core i5-2310 with some High Performance Processor like the Core i7-2600, 3770, 3770S, or preferably the 3770T as it has a low power consumption (45W). Is it a good idea? Recommend what would be the best choice for me.
PS: I own a Slim PC called Dell inspiron 620s that came with a PS of 250 W
