Can I add a separate wireless connection to my TP link router N750 as it is no longer transmitting a signal, it is showing online with the
Cat5 cable connection, trying to avoid purchasing new router,

Solution
OK, that is a very different use-case than the usual here. Adding a WIFI access point is possible. You would have to test to verify if a wired connection to the router still goes through the splash screen. It might not.
A Ubiqquiti or Engenius "smoke detector" style access point would be best. They are light commercial products and can handle the volume of devices more easily.

Thanks for reply, the router in question is being used as a dedicated hot spot in coffee shop, which allows customers to have Internet access thru our splash page,
I was trying to avoid having to Re flash a new router, with the suppliers special firmware, I guess that's what I will have to do,

Thanks for info, I did check out the ubiquity router, but it looks like it requires a cat5 connection, which would cause a problem,
In light of your suggestions I have decided to replace original router,
