Hello,

Its a very long story and cannot explain however I got my hands on these:

cmd32gx3m4a1600c9

Is this compatible?

CPU: Ryzen 1600
GPU: 970
Mobo: b350 Tomahawk

I currently have installed these:
https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-3000MHz-Desktop-Memory/dp/B0134EW7G8/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1504532873&sr=1-1&keywords=corsair+ram

I know they are not compatible therefore I'm not running at 3000mhz.

Im just curious if I install the "cmd32gx3m4a1600c9", would I get a better performance?

Also can really good RAM be bottlenecked by other hardware?

Thanks!

Solution
You will not be able to install the cmd32gx3m4a1600c9
It is ddr3 and is incompatible.

The ram you already have is top quality. No need to change it out.
In the bios, look for ram XMP settings.
That contains the detailed settings to run at faster speeds.
Note that since you are running dual channel, the actual speeds is doubled.

Lastly, real app performance or fps is not greatly impacted by ram speed.
Do what you can and be happy.

Just sell the ddr3 ram.

Unfortunately my current installed RAM is not working at its full potential...
