could someone tell me whats the best Processor for motherboard
Hewlett-Packard 09F0h
atm i have:Intel Pentium 4 640
socket:Socket 775 LGA

yeah i know:lol: that but it isnt my pc, ikr its garbage but still i would like to know which is the best Processor for that motherboard and socket that it support it...

Honestly, that CPU came right before a change from the 90 nm process to a 65 nm one, so there aren't many CPUs faster than the current CPU that are likely to be able to be run on the existing OEM motherboard.

The other problem is that there's only one faster CPU in that family that doesn't get bumped from 84W to 115W, the Pentium 4 650, which is the same processor clocked 200 Mhz faster. Again, it's very difficult to say if the motherboard can handle it.

Honestly, i don't think it's worth the bother. There's not much of a use case anymore in which that CPU is too slow and another CPU that works in that motherboard isn't.
