Hey all, I'm building a new PC from scratch (Other than the HDD that I already have), and had two questions about it. First, my setup:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 3.0GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI - B350 PC MATE ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB AORUS Video Card
Power Supply: Seasonic 650W Titanium ATX 12V Super Quiet
Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced OR Thermaltake Chaser Series MK-I

My two questions
-I noticed that the B350 mobo says it'll run up to 3200(OC). This confuses me, does this mean it'll run up to 3200mhz overclocked and without OC untill 2400Mhz, this means it will not run my memory right? Does anyone have a better motherboard I could use, or should I go for DDR4-2400 memory?

2nd question: Plain and simple: Are the cases good for my setup, or would you recommend something else?

Sorry for asking so much and thanks in advance!

Solution
the 3200(OC) bit

when you boot up the pc it will default to 2400mhz

if you enable the 3200mhz it will probably use a higher voltage and looser timings so it can hit 3200mhz

it doesnt mean its not running your memory right

just that its capable of being run at different speeds using different timings and/or voltages

2nd question i cant answer though as amd stuff i am not too familiar with

edited--misread the 2nd question lol

thought it was about the components
