Hi, here is the current build for my new PC. I am going for mid-high (maybe) end gaming pc, which will hopefully last and perform well for another 4-5 years. Is there anything I could improve or change?

Extra info:

I already have these 4 year old components: a 4 year old corsair CX600M psu, a 4 year old 1TB WD blue HDD (and new ssd). I plan on re-using these if that is not an issue. Maybe changing the PSU

I don't really have a budget but i'd like to get the most possible for my money. I (don't want to waste money on a 1080ti for example). Maybe the 1070 will be overkill but I do not want to worry about 60 fps on any settings.

I don't want the hyper 212 evo fan as i have it currently and I just don't get along with it. My room gets really hot so i need good airflow, hence the 2 extra case fans.

Don't plan on overclocking anything and not too fussed about it.

Thanks in advance :)

Make sure you RAM is DDR4. You should change up to a 6 core Ryzen 1600 as it can be overclocked to match the fastest overclock i5-7600K. It comes with a stock cooler able to overclock to 3.7~3.8Ghz which is near max with just 200Mhz left. At stock the 1600 will outperform the i5-7500 with ease.

Is your current RAM of the DDR4 variety? If not it will not be compatible with this build.

The older HDD shouldn't be an issue for storage as long as it's working properly. I might look into getting a new power supply if you are going to spend this much. For me, it would be worth it just as insurance.

This is a good PSU: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/TgW9TW/seasonic-power-supply-m12ii520bronze

I would consider this cooler, I have its big brother https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/93Crxr/cryorig-cpu-cooler-h7

is the PSU a green labeled cx600m? if so at 4 years old I would replace.
the fan on the evo can be changed to a quieter model. if the fan is issue a new fan is cheaper than a new cooler.
you will also need DDR4 RAM DDR3 is last generation and will not work with that motherboard or CPU

Get a ryzen 1600 the way things are going with games and all using more than 4 cores it will be the better choice. Also you need ddr4 ram for both the i5 and ryzen.

I don't mind about noise levels with fans or the PC in general. My CPU temps have never been great so would like to try a better/different CPU cooler. I am selling my old cooler anyway so wont be re-using that. Will get DDR4 ram ty :)

ok I get that. I would also consider AMD right now. the 7th generation intel are really hot chips, the ryzens are cooler and your evo will work here. something like this.
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Y9vTLD
Ryzen 65W chip, stock cooler until you get mount for evo or a new cooler but the Wraith should be fine for now.
seasonic PSU, DDR4 3200.
