Basically I have a 144hz monitor and I keep getting low fps. and my CPU sits a 13% total and 4 of the cores only run at 50% the rest of the cores are at maybe 10% threaded cores are at 0% maybe 5 at times. Gpus are at 50% or lower. What could be causing this if it's the game doesn't support multi thread then only one core should be maxed out and the rest idle then. Temp is 50c max CPU and gpus... o gpus are 1080ti

If you look at task manager it shows you usage OVER TIME,one core running at 100% could show up as 5 cores running at 20%,or any number of combinations, because the OS juggles threads between all available cores to protect cores from wear.
Use a program like process explorer to see the actual thread load.

Yuou can see in the pic that the game runs one thread at almost 100% of one core while task manager shows a bit over 50% usage on both cores.

That isn't how it works.

Now you see why there is no benefit at present to buy a large core count CPU only for gaming. The game designer has to program the game to use more than a single thread. For the huge majority of games, they optimize for the most common CPU type. Meaning there are usually only 4 threads at any given time.

Despite being a six core CPU its overall performance is quite lacking for gaming, It is slower than an i5 4690k where it matters (per core performance) and only marginally better than the i7 4790k at heavily threaded workloads.

That being said, is your RAM running in the proper mode? We may be able to help you if you give us some information like motherboard, ram, psu, OS etc.

Not the case using msi afterburner and it shows each individual core and none of the cores are over 50% at any point and the temp never hits more then 55 the Gpus doesn't see more then 50% on each... o the CPU can get 100% on all cores on cinabench and other benchmarks
