Would the 1050Ti be the best midrange upgrade for my old 650Ti?

I've got a GTX 650ti currently in my machine and it can run all of my games that i mainlt play fine, but when it comes to Skrim SE and such it can only run it smoothly at low settings at around 25fpd so i wanted to upgrade my graphics card but i don't wanna blow a huge amount on it as i don't game nearly as much as i used to (real life, job etc.) and i'm just wondering whether the 1050ti is worth the £170 it would cost me

You should be okay by just getting the 2 fan version of the GTX 1060 or the single fan version of the 1050 Ti, spending to much money on a budget card takes the whole meaning away.

It does matter at the top end (nvidia) holds the lead with the Titan XP and the GTX 1080 Ti. But at mid range levels is between the GTX 1060 and the RX 580, they are both pretty similar (performance wise), buying the cheaper of the two is the way to go.

I've seen i can get ones with two fans, am i overdoing it by getting a two fan one if i don't plan on overclocking it (which i'm not)
