Hi guys!

i bought a new hdd for my pc. it says it is SATA III, and i dont know for sure what that means. I do have one sata cable left, but will this fit, since it came with my old sata II SSD.
If you need more info, just comment it :)

Thanks!

Solution
Cable connectors are the same, it will fit in any case.
Only difference between sata2 and sata3 cables is their tested/certified operation mode.
Sata2 certified cable may cause errors, when used in sata3 mode.
There were no changes made to cables over different versions and no way it's going to cause errors. There are articles that tested sata cables.
