hi guys i have 4 ram modules a

"Apacer 2gb UNB Pc2-6400 cl5"
"Apacer 1gb UNB Pc2-5300 cl5"

And

2 x "Hynix 1gb 2Rx8 Pc2-5300U-555-12"

What will be the best combination of the two for a bit faster ram the Apacer of 3gb or the Hynix of 2gb modules.

help would be much aprecciated.

Mixing RAM is not a good idea even though from the same manufacturer, and there maybe incompatibility issues. I would advice you to use the Hynix RAM's as dual channel will work perfectly with no issues whatsoever.
But if you wish to utilize the 3 GB, i would advice you to use to use all the 4 RAM sticks; although i dont advice it much often but in your case, i would advice you using all the 4 sticks. Because 2 GB RAM nowadays just doesn't cut it.
