FPS are the same either if I choose high graphics or low graphics on any game

I have a MSI GP62MVR 7RF and almost any game I play I have the same fps either high graphics or low graphics
I searched a bit online and most questions said it was de CPU bottlenecking but shouldn't my CPU be enough to run these games?

I cant see your CPU nor the GPU neither the RAM?
you should list Full system specifications and games you are playing

have you checked your tempratures overall?
And how much FPS you are Getting?

I would check to make sure its using the 1060 and not the on chip intel gpu. Think i just ended up turning off the on chip GPU in my MSI laptop.
