So since last year my laptop began lagging harder and harder while gaming , it started on more powerfull games like far cry 4 and gta 5 and i tought maybe my laptop isnt powerful enough to play those games even though i had ok fps...But since last month every game i used to play with no problem now begins to lag after 15 minutes maybe even less of playing...I tought its a heating problem but my pc is no near hot while the lag happens and i dont know what to do and how to fix it

to explain the lag better , after 10 minutes of playing a game the screen slow down very bad and everything moves at 15-20 fps for 4-5 seconds , and then it returns to normal only to start again 15 seconds later

please help me understand what is happening

download a software called coretemp. Leave it running and then play your games. Report back with the max and min temperatures. Your problems may be caused by thermal throttling.

Also, you don't have a discrete graphics card in your laptop - its really not designed to play demanding games like GTA V that you are attempting to do.
