I'm looking to upgrade my rig in order to prepare for Monster Hunter World. My current processor, an AMD A10-6800K is starting to feel a bit weak, so I'm thinking about upgrading. I know its socket is FM2+, and I really don't want to replace my motherboard (but will if i have to). My question is, what (if anything) would be an ideal upgrade for my CPU without having to replace my FM2+ mobo? I Don't want to pay extra for on-chip graphics (I won't use.) My max budget is around $175.

CPU: AMD A10-6800K
GPU: AMD R9 280 series (could use help on upgrading also)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-D3H
Ram: HyperX Fury 8GB (1 x 8GB)
