External Storage from Xbox One to PC

I have a 1 TB Oyen U32 Shadow External Hard Drive for my Xbox One. Is there any way I can clear the memory off of it and use it for a future PC I'm building? (It's USB 3.0 so it should plug in correctly). Just to be clear, it is compatible with Windows as well as Xbox One.

Yes. That's just a basic 2.5" SATA HDD inside an enclosure

You could use it as an external HDD, as you are now ...... or, you could actually dismantle the enclosure, remove the drive and mount it internally.
