Would having different brand RAM slow the speed?

I have 4x4GB of Corsair Dominator 2666MHz in my system however Corsair Dominator is hard to come across, Would RAM of the same speed (2666MHz) and same size (4GB per stick) cause the RAM to run at half the speed?

Solution
If it works, you will get full speed. It will be 2x because of dual channel operation even with 4 sticks.

But it is not that likely to work by adding a disparate ram sick.
Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards, particularly AMD can be very sensitive to this.
This is more difficult when 4 sticks are involved.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.

If you have this situation, often increasing the stock ram voltage in the bios will make things work.
