So Currently I have a FX 8350 and R9 270x
pc and it just can't handle games as well as it use to. I wanted to upgrade my GPU but I'm afraid of bottle necking and I dont want to replace my CPU because then I need a new motherboard. So my question is, what GPU could I run with the best performance without replacing my CPU?

Solution
The 8350 is good for 60hz gaming. You can even get even a 1070 now for your future upgrade.
I would suggest the 1070 for 1080p 144hz and 1060 for 1080p 60hz.
U need to replace with the upcoming 8700k/z370 if you are planning for the 144hz upgrade.

I believe the FX 8350 can properly handle up to a 1070 (it will lack in certain CPU intensive titles, but most games rely on the graphics card).

The safe bet would be a 1050Ti, but I doubt that's the kind of performance you're looking for. The best compromise is 1060 6gb.
