Doubling the ram with adding the same kit

At one point in time I once used 4 different ram modules, one had absolutely different timing and frequency too. The system worked and read all 32GB but within a year the setup would no longer work. Keep in mind that its possible that the company you're buying the ram from can release updated versions of that same kit and use the same name. You're likely safe but if you're going to buy 2 kits I really think you should double and triple check that its the same
