Main pc can't run any games without lagging compared to my Alienware alpha with way lower specs

I built my gaming pc for Christmas and I just recently moved to the country I wasn't expecting the wifi to be as good as it was but I can't run any games without lagging. At first I just thought it was the wifi but both Xboxs now run lag free and my Alienware alpha runs the same games on my main pc flawlessly for some reason.
Pc: i5 6500, msi b150i gaming pro ac, rx 480 red devil, 400w psu, mini itx case, 16 go ram
Only thing I can think of is that my gpu could be overheating from the case maybe not enough airflow it only has one fan or I have read that update if drivers making sure everything is up to date could help too.

First, tell everyone what exactly you mean by lagging. Give how you are determining that there is lag and give numbers. You can easily determine if the GPU is overheating by running one of the standard hardware monitoring programs. Which operating system are you running? Depending on the game, CPU can be even more important. Is there a chance that something has happened to the overall ventilation in the case and/or CPU fans? Dust? Something coming lose during the move?

When I play black ops 2 and csgo I run both at 200fps but in bo3 my ping spikes majorly and multiplayer is unplayable but it can't be the internet bc the Alienware pc I have has very low ping and will run the game smoothly at 200fps. It is a very compact case there is dust in the filter on the front I have been meaning to clean it but haven't had the chance I have the nzxt cam app for my phone and pc that monitors the temps but haven't noticed much I am getting a new pc case soon and hopefully putting more fans in it to increase airflow. I am running windows 10. When I load into a game of bo2 the ping never goes below 100 and in some games I can't even move because it is so bad I was seeing over 900 ping

So by ping you mean say 100ms up to 900ms when you are in the PC version of the game. A properly code game really shouldn't have the ping affected by problems in the game itself. However it would really depend on how the ping mechanism is implemented in the game. If the coding does allow problems in GPU / CPU performance to interfere with ping, then yeah the PING will also skyrocked- but that shouldn't happen, because it really makes ping unreliable determination of network performance problems. Since the Alienware PC has great performance regardless, that does seem to support your instincts that it's unlikely to be an internet problem, but it could be a home network problem- maybe. How does the Alienware machine connect to your home network? How does the PC having the problems connect to the home network?

The Alienware pc connects wirelessly and the main pc I have tried both wired and wireless and had problems with both but I only stared experiencing this problem when I moved with new wifi

Try disabling the Wi-Fi to the problem PC and using a temporary Ethernet wire instead. Windows will sometimes use Wi-Fi, even when Ethernet is available, and every machine will experience Wi-Fi connectivity differently. You may just be getting bad signal to the one computer. You should eliminate the Wi-Fi as a possible source of the bad ping times.

On the other hand, have you ever thought about the fact that you're running an RX 480 on a pretty low end power supply?

I only have 1 240mm fan in the front of the case pushing all of the air could that be the problem? Since the wifi works fine on the other computer would it make sense that it could be a thermal problem affecting gaming

Please remember to check your amperage as well Kevin, I have seen "500" W power supplies with absolutely ridiculously low amperage on the +12v. Do NOT get a split rail design, get a single-rail design and make sure it has sufficient wattage and amperage available

So I have the nzxt s340 and the Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB 650W 80+ Bronze Smart Zero 256-Color RGB Fan Fully Modular ATX 12V 2.4/EPS 12V 2.92 Power Supply 7 YR Warranty PS-SPR-0650FPCBUS-R in my cart would both of those help with my temps ample power being ran to my components?

Update: idle with no applications open my CPU is sitting around 50 load is around 50 and then my gpu temp is 50-55 and the load is going from 1%-60 randomly then dropping to 1 again my fan is running 666-700 rpm that is going up and down constantly without me doing anything and then my gpu fans are idle not running unless I run a game and I have the stock CPU cooler on if that makes a difference

50°C is way too hot for idle on just about any current CPU, indicating that either your cooling is insufficient or you have a problem with the cooling, or both, and your load temperatures are going to be too hot. Best to get that sorted out. ITX builds are cute, but can be a pain to keep cool unless properly implemented.

What fan is spinning at those RPMs? That sounds awfully slow.

My main 240 fan I haven't messed with the Rpm since I got it I don't know that much but I know I little. So I'm guessing a new CPU cooler, mid tower case, 600w psu and case fans would help with my temps?
