I have an HP Pavilion dv4-2160us., CPU Core i-5 M430, meaning the unit is about 6-7 years od, Tmax = 105'C. Max temp measured was 85'C.. The fan seems to run a lot, but there were no other problems. Due to the age of the unit, I changed thermal paste (Arctic MX-4) . Max temp is now 72'C.
How often do you recommend I change thermal paste on a laptop that has the OEM thermal paste?
The keyboard isn't typing most keys.
Also, I'm mixed up as to which screws go where on the case. Suggestions?
