Combining 2 sets of the same brand

Currently I have this kit of 3 and although my mobo has 4 ram slots and doesn't support triple channel, they work fine.

I want to remove one of them and buy 2x4 GB ram to do double dual channel to make it 12 gb total. Would I be able to use 4 sticks? I'm going to buy these. Is there any other option that might suit better? I'm using GA-P55-UD5.

Yes, just make sure the timings are the same. They can be edited in the bios.

Rules to enable dual-channel mode
To achieve dual-channel mode, the following conditions must be met:
Same memory size. Examples: 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB.
Matched DIMM configuration in each channel.
Matched in symmetrical memory slots.

Configurations that do not match the above conditions revert to single-channel mode.
