PC doesnt boot unless I reinstall GPU drivers

Hello I'm having some trouble with trouble with my GPU or PC in general. Every time I try to use my PC it tries to boot, after the 3rd attempt it tells me Windows couldn't boot properly or something along those lines. So after that I have to boot into safe mode and uninstall and then reinstall my GPU driver. After I turn it off I have to do the same process next time. If you have anything that could help me please let me know. Thanks!

PC Specs.
Cpu-i7 6700
CPU cooler- corsair h100i 240mm
Mobo- msi h110m eco
Gpu- evga gtx 970 SSC
Ram- 2x8 corsair vengeance lpx
Psu- corsair rm850 80+gold
Windows 10

1. Turn off Windows ability to install Hardware drivers ... this will stop Windows from replacing nVidia's drivers

2. Uninstall all things nVidia, reboot

3. Use a registry cleaner to remove all references to nVidia, reboot

4. Do fresh install of driver from

have you tried an earlier version of the driver? will the system boot if you remove the driver altogether? windows should boot with the default base driver which should allow you to at least use the PC while you troubleshoot.

hello, thanks for the reply, ive tried the last 3 drives and no have them have worked. I use DDU to remove the drivers then install the driver and it still doesnt work the next day. But tomorrow or next time i use my pc ill try removing them completely and not installing the driver again. thanks!

I would try a driver from @ 6 mo's ago. the 970 is done and the newer drivers are not really benefiting it*. usually when the next gen chips come out the drivers stop progress for earlier chips so upgrading drivers for an older model card is not always the best thing.

*unless the driver release notes specifically mention improvement on your model its not gonna help.
