Installed GTX 1060 6gb, only shows 3gb

Adapter/Speccy/GPU-Z all say its 1060 GTX 3gb.

Adapter does say 6883 total. 3072 dedicated. 3811 Shared.

Did I get the wrong card or is this correct?

What exact model card did you get? Look at the box and card model # that is actually on the card. If you are seeing 3GB dedicated, that is a 3GB card.
