How do I change IP on Dahua camera to access it? Camera came with 192.168.1.108 IP and I cannot access it because my IP is: 192.168.0.xxx. I would appreciate someone providing step by step instruction stating what to do.

Solution

Right.
That is a spectacularly bad default design on that camera.
A forced static IP, instead of accepting DHCP from the owners router.

Your PC and the camera IP addresses are supposed to be different...they must be different.
What does the user manual tell you for how to connect to the camera?

This is what the manual states: 1.2 Log in
It needs to install WEB plug-in when you use WEB client for the first time, the exact operation steps are shown as follows: Open IE and input network camera address in the address bar. (The factory default IP address is 192.168.1.108).

When I insert the camera IP in IE it fails to connect. When I use the Dahua ConfigTool it fails to find the camera. Since my other cameras all have IP's that have 0. in their IP's, I figured this camera's IP needed to be changed to an IP like:
192.168.0.268 as an example, but I can't access the camera to do that.

Today I tried changing my IP on the computer to IP 192.168.1.149 instead of 192.168.0.149 and after that I was able to access the camera with the pc. I then changed the cameras IP. using .0. instead of .1. After changing the computer back to 192.168.0.149 the camera did show on the router. I am now able to access the camera using the IE browser to fine tune the camera settings. So everythings works. Thanks for the suggestions. Appreciate your help.
