I have an old TP-Link TL-WN772N (v. 1.1) that I want to use on a Windows 10 PC. However, the drivers for the specific adapter are only compatible up to Windows 8.1, and don't work. I don't want to roll back the OS, I don't have a key for any of the older ones. Is there any other drivers that would work with this, or a generic one?

Solution
I am pretty sure it uses AR9271 chipset. You could try to find a gernic window10 driver for that. The card is close to 8yrs old so it may not exist.

Pretty much the standard problem of vendors in effect forcing you to give them more money because they refuse to keep supporting your previous purchases.
