Asus motherboards not recognizing USB ports, no visual output

Hi,

A few days ago, my computer blue screened while I was doing some work. Upon attempting to restart the computer, none of the peripherals were working and there was no visual output.
The computer's fans would start and continue working but nothing else would happen, not even any unusual beeps or LEDs. It seems like the computer will start but not boot. I tried using a different monitor and connecting to the motherboard's onboard graphics card but it made no difference.

Since then, I've tried almost everything I can think of but nothing's worked. I've tried running with different ram sticks, no ram sticks, a different PSU, a separate graphics card, and even an entirely new motherboard but none of it has made a difference.

Asus z170-a (first motherboard)
Asus z270-a (second motherboard)
Intel - Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz
MSI - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB
VGA - SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold
G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)

I'd appreciate any help or insight anyone can offer me with this problem. Thanks!

EDIT: Tried resetting CMOS but no luck. Also tried another type of ram stick without any changes. Will try another CPU once it gets here.

Solution
Try clearing cmos on each motherboard and try again. The first thing that comes to mind with symptoms like yours is a faulty motherboard but it's unlikely that both your motherboards are gone so I would suggest trying another cpu if you can because cpu's die to but just not very often. Also try known working ram if you can. Best of luck.
