I have a i7-6700k @ 4.6 ghz and a kraken x52, the one with the 240mm radiatior. I have the kraken running at 100% on my CAM program. Playing witcher 3 some times I get worried because my cpu will exceed 80c, so I decided to use prime95 to see the temps. When I stress test it started to stay at 70c and then it switched to 90c. Unigine heaven stays at mid 50c. Are my temps normal ? I got worried when I was playing witcher 3 was thinking of reapplying thermal paste.

With the liquid cooler I have I never thought I would be seeing over 70c.

I was using this program called CAM. it functions with the kraken NZXT and hue+ for software controlled rgb effects. I will download hwmonitor and see those temps.

Good point I never thought of that. Unigine heaven is fine, it is just when I play witcher 3, I heard that it kills gpu, a lot of people complain about that.

Thought perhaps I will go into my bios to set my fan speeds to 100%, might aswell try that if there is any difference in temps.

Is it possible the sensors on my motherboard is registering the wrong temps?

when I run unigine heaven I get lows of 40c and highs of 60c.It fluctuates differend readings every second.
It bounces around in thresholds of 5 to 10c every second.

I think I found the problem, I opened the window and turned of the heating, removed my case glass and set the fan speed to 100% and the temps dropped about 10c. It was that I was blowing hot air into my radiator. Because of my fan design, I wanted to blow out of the rad because of my nzxt fans, the led is on one side only. I will fix this tommaro. thanks guys.

Too much warm air was going through my radiator.
Also I re applied thermal paste and boy, it brought my temps down a lot. I used the X method last time, but when I removed the block I saw that there was not that much paste in the center it all just spread out very very thin. I but a big Dot in the middle and now when I play withcer I am in the high 50s.
