Hello,

This problem started when i bought and installed a new gpu(Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB OC).
Firstly as usual i uninstalled the drivers from from my old gpu(msi gtx 980 gaming 4gb edition) and installed the drivers for my new gpu that i bought and a few days later once a day my two monitors would turn off and then on.
Secondly i formated my pc using the new features implemented on windows 10 and installed the new drivers for my new gpu and a few days later once a day my two monitors would turn off and then on until one day it started restarting.
After that it one day my two monitors would go off and my pc would restart and it went on on doing this again for a few days and then one day i got a blue screen. That was my first blue screen, after this problem started my pc continued restarting once a day minutes into playing a game.

My specs are:

Board: Board: X99A SLI Krait Edition (MS-7885) 4.0
Bus Clock: 100 megahertz
CPU:
3.30 gigahertz Intel Core i7-5820K
384 kilobyte primary memory cache
1536 kilobyte secondary memory cache
15360 kilobyte tertiary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (6 total)
Hyper-threaded (12 total)

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti [Display adapter]

RAM: 16 GB

Power Supply: 850W Seasonic 80 plus gold

Solution
What case are you using? Is the graphics card all the way in? If you're using a mini itx case, some of them require a riser card. Sometimes the riser card has issues. Try without it and see what happens.

Thank you for your response.

The temperatures stated below are while playing a game.

My temperatures for my CPU is:

Power: 27-34 W
Tj.Max: 95 ºC
Core 0: 40-43 ºC
Core 1: 38 ºC
Core 2: 41 ºC
Core 3: 42 ºC
Core 4: 45 ºC
Core 5: 42 ºC

My temperature for the GPU is :45 ºC but i had it go to 61-62 ºC while playing a game.

PS: I forgot also to mention that the problem stated in my previous post doesn't happen everyday. For example, in a week sometimes the problem occurs every single day and sometimes in the next week the problem doesn't occur 1 or 2 days straight and then the next days the problem occurs again.

Good temps. I know this is probably very frustrating but keep patient and you'll find a solution. Here are some ideas off the top of my head;
1. Remove your graphics card and connect your screen only to your onboard graphics.
Uninstall all drivers and utilities of your GPU making sure nothing else is there to mess things up. Then plug your card in and install the drivers again.

2. See if you accidentally misplaced anything while doing the upgrade, i.e. putting the HDMI cable on the onboard graphics exit instead of your GPU exit. Re-seat the RAM modules, make sure everything is in order.

3. If you have the luxury, try your new GPU on another computer. If it's faulty (unlikely) it will restart on that PC as well.

Hello, sorry for not responding faster.
My board doesn't have an onboard graphics to connect my DVI monitor or HDMI monitor so i cant try your first suggestion.
I already re-seated the RAM modules a few days back when i had a problem where the pc it would only recognize 8 GB of RAM instead of 16 but it was a matter of cleaning up the RAM and the third suggestion i cant try it because my pc is the only one that has a board good enough to sustain this GPU.

As always thank you for your responses.
