Hello
i own and old pc
The interesting specs are :
-mobo : asus p5qle
-cpu : intel core quad 2 q6600
-gpu : asus gt9500
Is there any chance reviving this old thing ? Can i upgrade the cpu in this mobo with a new one ? If i leave this cpu buying a new gpu would make a difference or it would bottleneck as hell ?

Solution
I would purchase a GTX 1050 Ti. You might see some small amount of bottlenecking with the Q6600 but it should be okay. Or you could spend $35 less and get a plain GTX 1050, bottlenecking should not be problem with this GPU. Either one of these GPU's will blow the 9500 GT out of the water.

The CPU can be upgraded to a Q9650 or a Q9550, they can be had used on Ebay for 30-65 USD...

If you pair the Q9650 with the GTX 1050 Ti you should see 1080p gaming performance at the medium to high level.

Solution
imsqam is right, get a Q9650/Q0550 or even one of those E5450 Conversions for 30$ that will beat the Q6660 in performance
according to specs : ASUS P5QLE your board can handle 16GB DDR2 PC2-8500 search for that may prove difficult, but find at least 8GB of ram on that box anything else below that will make it drag its feet ALOT. all I could find and this will also run on your system was 8GB (2x(2x (2x4GB)) DDR2-800 (PC2-6400) @ microcenter for 54$ a pair (4gb)

RAM is not cheap for these boards., the rest , pretty standard!
