Your computer will need the necessary hardware and hardware configuration along with the applicable login and password information.
More information is needed:
1) Does your computer have a wireless network adapter: either built-in, USB, or PCIe?
2) Is there a wireless network at your location? If so, there should be someone with admin rights to the router who can help you configure your computer to join the wireless network.
Talk with whomever manages the network you wish to join. That person is the key.
