I am looking for a gpu for graphic design works. I don't play games, so I am looking for a mid range gpu. In the near future I will be getting a 4k monitor and use it as a main monitor together with a 1080p monitor. Can a 1050/1050ti handle it or should I go with a 1060?

Solution
Yeah the regular 1050 should be sufficient for your use, a 1030 should even be able to handle that, although you would be pushing the 1030 to its max so the extra $20-30 for the 1050 is worth it.

You can easily watch videos and whatnot with a 1050 Ti so as long as you aren't playing any games in 4k, you should be fine. I have a 1050 Ti and 2 1080p monitors at 60hz. I play games on one of the monitors while the other has a video running. The 1050 Ti is a great card that is completely capable of what you want it to do.

Oh, then even a 1050 is good enough for my use with dual monitors is it? I was about to get this Zotac 1050ti card but I have no idea about 1050. Any suggestions?
