Couple of folders suddenly disappeared from external hard disk after I run a checkdisk. They were there the night before. I check the hard disk properties, the size is 500GB, match the size before the files disappear. But all the files (including hidden files) only show 400GB.
Is there anything I can do to recover my files? My internal is running low and I'm afraid if I move my files to external, those missing files would be rewritten. Can anyone please help?
