UPDATE: Not sure if it was AVG that caused the issue or audio driver? Microsoft tech helped me reinstall Windows 10, whilst keeping files and its fine now, issue fixed. But can I say for how long? Do I just not install AVG or not update graphics card?

I am getting tired of this crap that is happening to me. I am using my brothers PC to write this!

Basically, when I just had my HDD as only storage device, after a Windows Update, concidently, after restarting my PC, I would log into account and get the black screen of death, with only white cursor.

I presumed I resolved this buy not only 'flash' updating my BIOS/MB, but also buying an SSD, clean installing Windows 10 onto it along with all my softares and using my HD as storage. This has been all good and working since I did that for a few weeks.

-Just SSD installed with W/10 was fine (I created an image of this)
-SSD with W/10 along with my 2TB HD connected, and nearly all my softwares, and that too was working fine. (created an image of this also)

I have been using my PC time. Today I updated my audio driver, as I thought it would fix my 'Event 41 Kernel Power(63)' in Event Viewer. I also installed AVG.
So I shut-down my PC to go eat, come back, turn it on, log in and it takes a while. Then it shows a grey/black screen with white cursor, WITH the task bar at the bottom. So its the same frigging issue again!1 And the taskbar appears and disappears after like 10 seconds each time.

PLEASE what on earth is happening to my PC!? I have a Macrium CD of my SSD with W/10 along with my 2TB HD, although its a couple weeks old.

I had Microsoft support help me make new user account, as I needed it renamed so it had so space, and they deleted the 'old' one. Not sure if this has cuased it?

hellppp :(

Spoke to Microsoft Support and they said to clean install Windows 10 again on my SSD. I have the Macirum restore points, but even then, my user account folder has a 'whitespace' and I dont want that, so I dont really mind clean installing via bootable USB and re-downloading my softwares...

But does this sound like a hardware issue? Software? I had MS tech create and delete user accounts and create new ones the other day, all was fine and all..?

Looks like I will use bootable USB to clean Windows 10 on SSD again

P.S I booted into safe mode ok. Uninstalled the audio driver, and even AVG but no luck in fixing.
