i built a pc for a friend recently and everything went smoothly when i put it together then when i went to check if it would post it turned on for a split second then turned itself of instantly after, i have tried the following so far.
paperclip method to test the PSU
Installing a new PSU i know to work
starting it with just one of the ram sticks (tried with both)
made sure everything was connected and put in all of the way
replaced the BIOS battery
unplugged everything from the MOBO that is not necessary
Tried a different outlet
Im out of ideas guys, im thinking it must be the MOBO at this point, the only other thing it could be is the CPU and i dont think it would cause a problem like this anyway.
