I was playing Rise of The Tomb Raider using the said GPU. The game crashed in the middle and the system rebooted. It booted into windows because I can hear the login sound. However, the screen is blank after that.
My mobo has a second pci-e slot, so I booted with my old HD 7950 into windows. The HD 7990, however, is nowhere to be detected in windows, dos (using "atiflash -i" command), gpu-z, etc. It just simply, disappeared. The fan did spin, nonetheless.
Tried with the bios switch (There's one using the stock BIOS), didn't work either.
I didn't overclock and instead, I underclock both GPUs to 925 instead of the stock 1000.
My rig Specs:
AMD FX-8300 @3.6 Ghz, watercooled with Corsair H55
Gigabyte 970a-ds3p Rev 2.1 mobo
16GB Crucial 1333 Dual Channel
MX200 SSD + ST2000DM001
Sapphire HD 7990
Corsair CX750M PSU
Corsair 200R Case, with 3x intake fans (2 front, 1 bottom) and 3x exhausts (1 rear, 2 tops)
Any help is appreciated!
